About Hannah

Hannah is a graduate of Aberdeen University who trained and qualified at Thompsons. She joined the firm in 2005, was promoted to the position of Associate in 2011 and was promoted to partner in 2016.

She has special interest and expertise in dealing with high-value, serious and catastrophic injury claims and finds the most rewarding aspect of her job is in obtaining answers, redress, and just outcomes for her clients.

Hannah enjoys working at Thompsons because she knows that people within the firm are passionate about what they do and put clients at the centre of each case. She believes that the firm will go above and beyond to fight for justice for clients.

Hannah has been accredited as a Trauma Informed Lawyer by the Law Society of Scotland which allows her to support clients and colleagues in her area of practice.

Expertise

Specialising in personal injury and health and safety law, Hannah is experienced in litigating in the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts. She has represented families in a number of fatal accident inquiries.

Hannah has recently been involved in various high-profile cases having been employed to act on behalf of victims of the Clutha air disaster and Glasgow bin lorry accident. She also acted in the notable case Susan McLellan v Mitie Group Plc.
