About Claire

Claire joined Thompsons Solicitors in April 2023 and completed her traineeship working exclusively on behalf of survivors of historical abuse. She qualified as a Solicitor in April 2025 and continues to work within the firm's Life Impact Team.

Claire acts for clients in a broad range of complex and sensitive cases, including historical abuse claims, serious injury litigation and fatal accident claims. She regularly works with vulnerable clients and is committed to providing a trauma-informed approach to legal representation, ensuring clients feel supported, heard and empowered throughout the litigation process.

Claire is also involved in group litigation and is part of the team that raised the Krishna Singh Group Proceedings in the Court of Session on behalf of survivors who suffered abuse by their former GP. Her experience includes both individual and group proceedings, with a particular focus on securing accountability, compensation, and access to justice for survivors.
