Grace heads up the Scottish Borders office and is responsible for business development across the region. Grace is also part of the Mass litigation team

About Grace

Grace has had a varied practice to date. Following completion of her traineeship in 2016, Grace worked as an Associate in the Planning and Environment team at CMS, advising on major projects and dealing with large-scale appeal inquiries and judicial reviews.

She was then Head of Legal for an international healthcare data privacy company. This role included advising the business on risk and regulatory issues and developing the data science and technology teams’ application of data privacy laws.

With the introduction of group proceedings in Scotland creating some interesting opportunities, Grace joined Pogust Goodhead - a specialist group litigation firm. Here Grace was involved in some of the first group proceedings in Scotland, as well as supporting the growth of the Scottish branch of the business.

Although originally from the Isle of Skye, Grace has made her home in the Scottish Borders and moved to work at Thompsons’ Galashiels office in 2025. Alongside developing the Scottish Borders branch and managing relationships with Thompsons’ referral partners, Grace is part of the firm’s Mass Litigation team. Here, she works on a range of cases- assisting groups of people to access justice following wrongs against them by large companies and organisations.
