About Lauren

Lauren graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an LLB (Hons) in 2019. She thereafter completed her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, also at Strathclyde University, where she was awarded the Law Society of Scotland Prize for Overall Merit.

Lauren started her career at Thompsons in March 2021 as a trainee solicitor working in the non-asbestos Industrial Disease team. She assisted with cases for clients suffering from a range of work-related diseases such as noise induced hearing loss, vibration related injuries (HAVS and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome), dermatitis and silicosis.

Since February 2023, Lauren focuses on asbestos disease work.

Expertise

Lauren is a solicitor in the Disease team where she investigates claims against former employers of clients who have been diagnosed with asbestos-related conditions as a result of negligent exposure to asbestos.
