ABOUT

Catriona joined Thompsons in 2023 after completing her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde. She completed her traineeship with Thompsons, working in the Life Impact team for the duration of her two-year training period. 

During her time at University, Catriona was a Student Advisor at the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic, providing access to justice to members of the public. In this role, she offered advice and representation in claims at the Employment Tribunal. 

EXPERTISE

Catriona is a Solicitor within the specialist Life Impact Team handling cases which are complex and sensitive in nature. She predominantly works with survivors on cases concerning childhood and domestic abuse.

Catriona has experience assisting in pre-litigation claims and litigated cases raised in the National Personal Injury Court and Court of Session, as well as experience handling applications to Scotland's Redress Scheme and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority. She has also represented clients in hearings at the Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal.
