About Jayne

Jayne is a graduate of Edinburgh University. She trained and qualified at Thompsons in 2006, having joined the firm as a student in 2003. She was appointed a Partner in the firm in 2016.

Expertise

Specialising in, and predominately dealing with, complex and high-value, serious injury cases, Jayne’s case handling responsibilities include:

• Management of private case referrals from individuals and other Scottish lawyers;
• Management of case referrals from National Trade Unions.

Jayne has vast experience of litigating at the Court of Session where she has run proofs, jury trials and appeals to the Inner House and in the Sheriff Courts.

The variety of case introducers that Jayne deals with sees her handling claims across the whole personal injury spectrum including road traffic collisions, fatal cases and workplace injuries. She has also dealt with criminal injury claims and industrial disease work.
