About Jodie
Jodie is an Associate Solicitor and Supervisor within the firm’s specialist Life Impact team. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an LLB in 2016 and an LLM in International Law in 2017. She went on to complete the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde, before joining Thompsons Scotland as a Trainee Solicitor in June 2019.
Expertise
Jodie has experience in handling a variety of personal injury cases including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, occupiers’ liability, and Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority cases. She is experienced in litigating cases in the Court of Session, the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court, and the local Sheriff Courts. Within the Life Impact team, Jodie focuses on pursuing justice for survivors of historical abuse, individuals with complex and catastrophic injuries, and families affected by fatal incidents. She takes immense pride in acting exclusively for injured parties and representing trade union members. She is passionate about the work that she does and is committed to working tirelessly for her clients.
