About Daniel

Daniel began his legal studies at Glasgow Caledonian University in September 2011 where he obtained his undergraduate Honours Degree in Scots Law in July 2015. Daniel then transferred to Strathclyde University and obtained a Diploma in Legal Practice in June 2016.

Daniel joined Thompsons Solicitors beginning in the Mass Litigation Team in November 2016.


Having joined Thompsons in November 2016 as a Legal Researcher, Daniel was given the opportunity to become an integral part of the Mass Litigation team as the new Trainee Solicitor in which he oversaw the handling of cases that include; the Baby Ash in Crematoriums across Scotland, product liability and medical negligence in relation to PIP Breast Implants, Mesh Implants and Metal on Metal Hips.

Having worked briefly on historic abuse cases whilst in the Mass Litigation Team, Daniel opted to specialise in this new area of law following the change of limitation in November 2017. He continues to work closely within the Survivor Department alongside our affiliates offering legal support to victims of historic abuse of children and campaigns for change through Take Justice.
