About Jordan

Jordan started working at Thompsons Solicitors in August 2019 as a Legal Researcher in the Survivors team. In doing so, Jordan conducted legal research pertaining to organisations and individuals who are responsible for committing historical abuse. He was also responsible for conducting reviews of social work records. 

Jordan then moved to the Private Client team in October 2020, where he was responsible for preparing and finalising Wills, and drafting Powers of Attorney. 

Jordan now Jordan works in the Accident team. 

Jordan started his traineeship, within the Road Traffic Accident team, in May 2022 after the successful completion of the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde.

Jordan has volunteered and worked, alongside his studies, at the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic between October 2017 to May 2022. Whilst volunteering at the Law Clinic, Jordan has assisted clients in matters pertaining to employment, immigration and asylum, and simple procedure. Jordan has also represented clients in the Scottish Employment Tribunals and Glasgow Sheriff Court. In his final, two academic years, Jordan was one of the Student Directors of the Law Clinic.

Jordan has also volunteered at the Miscarriages of Justice Organisation Scotland (“MOJO”) for several years. 


Jordan’s traineeship is specialising in civil litigation concerning road traffic accidents in Scotland. Jordan is currently improving his knowledge and expertise on road traffic accidents.

Jordan is also interested in civil and criminal litigation, climate and environmental justice, access to justice, and employment law. 

Jordan is currently responsible for taking precognitions from clients and witnesses; communicating with third parties’ insurers, clients’ insurers, clients, and other parties; and prepares claim forms as per the Personal Injury Pre-Action Protocol, and other necessary court documentation.
