Kirsty joined Thompson’s Solicitors in December 2015 whilst she was still a student at University. During this time she worked in the road traffic accident department.
Having graduated with her Law Degree from Stirling University in June 2016, Kirsty went on to complete her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at Strathclyde University in 2017. Following graduation, Kirsty commenced her traineeship in the union accident team in March 2018. She really enjoys her role within the union accident team and the satisfaction that it brings.
Kirsty represents trade union clients who have been involved in an accident/incident which has caused them either physical or psychological injury.
She mainly deals with accident at work claims, public and occupier’s liability claims, work related stress claims, strain cases and injuries resulting from an act of criminal behaviour. Kirsty has experience in road traffic accident claims and MIB claims and has gained experience in both pre-litigation cases and litigated cases.
