South Lanarkshire Data Breach Claims
South Lanarkshire council have admitted to publishing the personal details of 15,000 employees on to a website as a result a mistake responding to a Freedom of Information request.
The personal data that was published on-line by South Lanarkshire Council included employees names, salaries, national insurance numbers, job descriptions and place of work.
The publication of such sensitive and private information is extremely worrying for the employees who are affected by the data breach.
