You judge and you trust with the medication that you're put
on. I never thought this would happen to me.
In 2018, Tammy Crossan was told she had four
brain tumors, a diagnosis made more shocking by what
she was told had caused them, her contraceptive jab,
Pfizer's Depo-Provera.
I was on it for nearly 17 years. I even had it the year that I
had my craniotomy, and still even at that point was
never even made aware
of the dangers of brain tumors or even the association of brain tumors.
Despite her long-term use, Tammy was never warned about the risks,
and she isn't alone. Thousands of women use the contraceptive
jab unaware what it could be doing.
All I was ever told about was bone density.
I had to have one year gap where I went on the implant, which didn't
agree with me, and after a year it was taken out and I was straight back onto
Pfizer. Never, ever once was I told about brain tumors.
Tammy is one of numerous women taking legal action against
Pfizer in a landmark case. She's chosen to put her
trust in Thompsons as we guide her through what comes
next.
When I spoke to Thompsons, and I spoke to Patrick specifically, and read up
on all of his cases,
he's a very experienced lawyer, and actually I felt very comfortable speaking to
Patrick and thinking I could trust this company.
