What if I told you there was a time limit on every accident claim?

I'm Regan Burnside from Thompsons Solicitors, and here's what you need to know

about time bar.

In most cases, you've got three years from the date of the accident to make a claim

for compensation, but there are exceptions.

If it's a maritime accident, you've got two years, and if you were under

16, the clock doesn't start until your 16th birthday.

But beware, it's strict. Three years less than a day.

Miss it, and your claim is gone. It doesn't matter how strong your case is.

If it's late, it's too late. So don't wait. Don't guess.
