Medical Negligence Claims | Jura Ward New Stobhill Hospital Medication Claims | Glasgow Hospital Claims

Transcript

When someone elderly or vulnerable goes into hospital,

their families should be able to trust that they will receive safe,

dignified care.

If that trust has been broken, it is a matter of utmost seriousness.

The allegations now being investigated in relation to the Jura

Ward at New Stotternell Hospital are deeply disturbing.

The suggestion that elderly and vulnerable patients may have been

given opioids which were not prescribed to them is shocking,

and the family involved have understandably been left distressed by what they've

been told.

Families should not have to battle for the truth about what happened to a loved

one.

Yet too often, legal action is the only way that they feel they'll ever get

full and honest answers. We will stand with them to

make sure those answers are secured, those responsible are held

to account,

and ensure that anyone else with concerns knows that support is available
