You do not need insurance to make a claim as a result of an accident when you're on

holiday. However, if you do have insurance, it can be really helpful at the time.

You can notify them to assist with immediate costs such as medical treatment or

getting you home, and that is often what clients need at that

point. However, this should not be confused with your legal right to make a claim

for compensation, which is separate.
