The Clydebank Asbestos Group is a voluntary organisation which not only provides much needed support to the victims of asbestos and their families but also campaigns tirelessly around the issues.
Laura Blane is a Partner at Thompsons Solicitors and head of the firm’s lung disease team. Commenting on the award she said: “We are absolutely delighted that the fantastic work of the Clydebank Asbestos Group is being recognised with the Queen’s Award. The individuals who make up the group work incredibly hard and are thoroughly deserving of such an award. I’m sure this public recognition of their efforts will also give great comfort to the victims and families they work so hard to support.”
