Owen Griffin’s lawyers have agreed £3million compensation for devastating brain and physical injuries sustained in a car accident in March 2004.  The settlement is one of the biggest personal injury settlements in Northern Ireland.

Mr Griffin was a singer and a member of a band who had secured slots as support artists for Westlife and Girls Aloud at the time of the accident.  The car accident occurred on the Glasgow to Stranraer road when the band was on their way to catch a ferry to Northern Ireland.

Griffin was asleep in the back of the vehicle when it collided head on with a motorcycle.  He sustained severe brain and physical injuries and was in a coma for weeks.  He will never be able to live independently and still continues to suffer psychological trauma.  He currently stays in a house with three other men who require personal care in an assistance living scheme.

There are more vehicles on our roads than ever and as a result there are more and more car accidents occurring every day.  If you have been involved in a car accident, even if you are unsure whether you would be able to claim, contact our specialist car accident compensation lawyers today on 0800 0891331 and we can investigate matters for you and advise you on your first step towards receiving compensation.
