The guardian of a 12 year old girl who was injured in an accident at Kirkcaldy Ice Rink raised court action against the Ice Rink.

The young girl who was injured in the accident twisted her ankle and fell when her skate became caught in some lose netting at the ice rink.

The court did not make and award of compensation to the young girl because it held the ice rink had recognised the risk that the netting could become loose and had tied it off.

Unfortunately no evidence was lead to show what the ice rink could or should have done to prevent the accident and no evidence was lead showing how long the net had been lose for prior to the accident so the young girl did not receive compensation.

If you have been injured in an accident in the last three years you may be entitled to make a claim for compensation. Call our compensation lawyers 0800 0891331 and we will assist you in pursing a claim for compensation on a No Win No Fee basis.
