A West Sussex secondary school was closed for the day after one of the staff members was involved in a car crash.

It was reported that a member of staff had been involved in a road traffic accident when a car hit a tree on Tuesday evening.  Police officers have appealed for information after the car crash which happened in Saddlescombe Road. Sussex police reported that the crash happened at about 5.45 pm yesterday and left the driver with serious injuries.
