Thompsons, who represented the families at the ICL Inquiry, welcomed the news that Lord Gill has passed his report to the Scottish Government and the DWP ahead of its publication later this month.
Justice Secretary, Kenny MacAskill, commented:
"…core participants (at the Inquiry) made clear that the process enabled them to gain a clear insight into what caused the explosion and that they feel that the truth of what happened has been exposed.
It is very important that we all learn lessons from this tragic incident.”
As well as representing the families of victims of the Stockline disaster at the Inquiry, Thompsons continues to seek financial compensation as redress for the distressed relatives.
