Reports coming out of Scotland’s health boards that there is a “widespread lack of clarity” regarding guidelines on C-Diff serves only to highlight the need for the full Public Inquiry into the outbreaks to commence expediently.

Thompsons Patrick McGuire, who will represent the families of victims at the Inquiry, noted:

“The confusion regarding the prevention of C-diff between health boards, hospitals and their employees is not surprising.

We campaigned for an Inquiry on the back of systems failures which allowed the spread of these deadly bacteria.  This latest news shows how important that the Inquiry team begins it’s work as soon as possible..”

Thompsons, are proud to represent clients on a No Win, No  Fee basis for compensation related to the contraction of C-Diff.
