Dumfries and Galloway police force have urged bikers to drive responsibly and to take responsibility for their own safety after over three motor cycle drivers were injured in road traffic accidents over the space of one week.
It is thought that due to the good weather more motor cyclists have taken to the roads in Dumfries and Galloway. Police advised that bikers must remember to treat routes with “respect and care”.
They wanted to remind bikers of the skill, effort, care and concentration, needed to ride a motorcycle.
The police have advised that they witness horrific injuries as a result of crashes involving motorcyclists and these injuries are potentially life-changing.
