Mr Robertson recently received compensation after sustaining an injury over a period of time while working as a fire extinguisher serviceman. He had been working for several months for a company called Anderstore Ltd at the time.

As part of this job he had to weigh the fire extinguishers, which weighed around 15kg. In order to do this he used a spring scale which he had to hold at eye level in order to see the readings. After a few months he began to experience pain in both of his shoulders.

He sought medical attention and was diagnosed with bilateral frozen shoulders. He has had two operations to try and correct the problem but still suffers from pain in both his shoulders. As a result of this he has been forced to find alternative employment.
