I have been with Thompsons for over 10 years

I am based in the Road Traffic Accident team in the Edinburgh office

What inspired you to pursue a career at Thompsons?
Having worked in a variety of law firms previously, I had always been aware of Thompsons and the work they done and was keen to be part of it and help clients in getting the best results possible for them.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
What I enjoy most about my role is being able to help people and you never know that day is going to bring, no two days are ever the same.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
My interests outside of work are binging true crime documentaries and meeting up with friends. I also enjoy spending quality time with my daughter Hollie when she comes home from Uni for a visit.
What do you think makes the Thompsons team special?
The people at Thompsons is what makes the team special. Being surrounded by good people and different personalities makes for a fun day at Thompsons.
Do you have any hidden talents or unusual skills?
I have a creepy ability to remember everything – some would say I am not the person you want on a night out with you!

My favourite movie is Top Gun

Don’t count the days, make the days count.
What advice would you give to someone starting at Thompsons?
My advice would be to just be yourself and don’t be afraid to ask for help when needed, we a very friendly bunch.
Any tips for maintaining a good work-life balance?
My advice for maintaining a good work-life balance would be that priority is key. Focus on what is most urgent and remember everything else can wait.
What’s your dream travel destination?
My dream travel destination would definitely be New York.
