What’s your name and job title?
Alix - Trainee Solicitor
How long have you been with Thompsons?
I have been at Thompsons since 2023. I started in the Edinburgh Union Accident Team as a Legal Assistant whilst completing University.
Which team and office are you based in?
I am part of the General Accident team and often work between our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.

What inspired you to pursue a career at Thompsons?
I was inspired by Thompsons’ strong commitment to helping clients and securing the best outcomes in their personal injury cases. The team’s dedication and expertise motivate me to develop and advance my career within the firm.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of work-Outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my horses and going running.
What motivates you to do your best at work?
I’m motivated by working with hardworking, dedicated, and driven people who think outside the box and always strive to achieve the best outcomes for their clients.
What advice would you give to someone starting at Thompsons?
For anyone starting at Thompsons, I’d say make the most of every learning opportunity and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Everyone here is supportive and willing to share their knowledge and you will quickly understand how rewarding it is to be part of a team that truly makes a difference.
