Continuing on my ‘no win no fee compensation’ blogging sabbatical I want to again talk about Politics and Achievements.

As I mentioned last week, my big mate Frank Maguire, Senior Partner here at Thompsons won Solicitor of the Year for 2010.

His efforts on the political campaigning front were cited as much as his legal skills as reasons for the prestigious awards.

It was unsurprising to see his award recognised in the Scottish Parliament yesterday when 30 Labour and SNP MSP’s signed a petition to congratulate Frank on all his political work, especially that designed to help Asbestos victims.

If his name had been Milliband instead of Maguire, who knows where he would be now.
