At Thompson’s we would like to reassure all our clients that as far as possible we are operating as normal. The health and safety of our staff and clients is our primary concern during this outbreak and as such we are reviewing the situation on a regular basis and will be adapting our working practices following government guidelines. However, we have had to make some minor changes to how we are doing things.

Following Government guidelines, we have temporarily closed all of our offices and our staff are now all working from home using secure technologies to ensure they are able to continue to progress with existing and new cases as normal. All face to face meetings have been cancelled, however we are continuing to hold these meetings via phone and video calls. All the team are contactable on their direct dial numbers and email should you need to speak with your solicitor, please do not hesitate to talk to us about anything during this time.

We know these are uncertain and unsettling times for many of our clients, and the wider population, and things might look a little different for the foreseeable future. But our focus remains on our dedication, knowledge and strength that we provide to all our clients. We will continue to provide updates over the coming days and weeks in accordance with official guidelines and to keep everyone informed of the situation.

As always, for any concerns, advice and updates on your case; Talk to Thompsons.

Compensation Claim - Things We Need To Know

Thompsons Solicitors Scotland
Thompsons Solicitors Scotland

Signing DocumentThompsons Solicitors is a personal injury law firm that has two very clear goals: to help those who've been unfairly injured get the compensation they deserve, and to champion the rights of injured individuals, and their families, whenever we feel the law has not done enough for them.

So that we can give you the best possible chance of receiving the fair amount of compensation you're entitled to, we are first going to need to know a few essential facts about your circumstances.

Help your personal injury solicitor to help you

The success – and value - of a personal injury claim depends largely on the evidence put forward to support it, and even the smallest detail can make a big difference. That’s why our personal injury solicitors put a lot of energy into asking questions – of you, of witnesses and of experts. The dedication we put into finding out as much as possible about the incident is done only to help ensure your case reaches its most successful conclusion.

Gathering this information will give us a clearer picture of your options. From a legal point of view, if you have been injured or suffered illness because of something that was not your fault, then you might be able to claim for compensation. Your case, might also benefit others along the way, as establishing a comprehensive view of what led to the incident may prevent the same thing from happening to someone else.

Once we know the facts, we can advise you on the best way forward.

What will my compensation lawyer ask me?

During the process, you are likely to be asked:
