Protective Award Victory – £1m Settlement for Former Stewart Milne Group Employees
More than 200 former employees of the Stewart Milne Group have secured a £1 million Protective Award settlement averaging £5,000 each after an 18-month legal battle. Employment lawyer Paul Kissen, who represented the group, shares: “After what had been a very hard-fought battle over around 18 months, they finally received in total around £1m, which is around £5,000 each.” This case highlights the importance of employee rights and the role of Protective Award claims in securing fair outcomes after redundancy.
