Riding schools have been advised to be on the ball when it comes to no win no fee claims. Riding schools are being recommended to make sure they have the correct liability insurance to deal with any no win no fee claims made.

The recommendations came from the Horse and Hound magazine after a legal firm advised them that they were getting up to four calls a day after putting an advert for no win no fee services relating to riding accidents on facebook.  The legal firm stated that they didn’t think a compensation culture mentality was to blame for the increase in claims, they thought it was simply the case that there are more people are ridding horses compared to ten years ago.

Riding schools are being urged to make sure they undertake comprehensive and regular risk assessments to ensure riders safety.
