About Joe

Having joined Thompsons in 1993, as a filing clerk working within the office mail room, Joe was offered the opportunity to join the lung disease department as a paralegal. Since 2004, Joe has worked within the pre-litigation team.

Joe feels his is an extremely rewarding job as he is able to assist clients in obtaining compensation for the wrongdoing of their negligent employers. He finds the role satisfying, particularly in being able to achieve justice for the clients and their families for the devastating affect asbestos exposure has had on them.

Expertise

Joe works within the pre-litigation team dealing with a caseload consisting mainly of mesothelioma claims. This involves fully preparing cases with a view to obtaining settlements for clients and their families at a pre-litigation stage or enabling court proceedings to be raised on the client's behalf.

A diagnosis of mesothelioma is devastating for both the client and their family and the cases therefore have to be dealt with in a delicate manner.
