A construction company, Marcob Administration Limited, has recently been fined £80,000 for breaches under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.

An employee of the construction company tragically sustained fatal injuries when the digging arm of a mini digger crushed his head between the cab of the digger and the digging arm. The accident occurred when the employee, who was driving the mini digger, unintentionally moved a control inside the cab of the mini digger as he leaned out of the window.

The employee was not qualified to operate the mini digger and had not been provided with adequate training by the construction company.

The family of any employee who loses their life as a result of an accident may have a claim for monetary compensation for their losses arising as a result of the fault and negligence of another.

If you have lost a loved one in the last three years in an accident that wasn’t their fault  contact our specialist claims team on 0800 0891 331 and we will assist you in claiming compensation on a No Win No Fee basis.
