The BBC has reported that £11 million compensation has been awarded to the victims of the July 7th bomb attacks on London from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority. The victims who have received compensation were injured when four suicide bombers detonated bombs in London.

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority have stated that they are committed to dealing with and resolving the compensation applications of the victims who sustained injuries as quickly and sensitively as possible.

A Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority spokesman disclosed that in the years following the July 7th bomb attacks 650 claims for compensation were made. Some of the claims for compensation were not successful because the applicant was not an actual victim or their injuries were too minor. Some of the claims for compensation are still ongoing.

If you were a victim of the 7th July bomb attacks in London, contact our specialist compensation claim lawyers and we will advise you if you have a valid claim for compensation.
