It has been reported that annually there are almost one million road traffic accidents in Britain that are a result of drivers being distracted by attractive pedestrians.
Direct line have reported that there are around 2525 road traffic accidents a day and a lot of these are caused by drivers being distracted.
Interestingly during the summer, when people wear fewer clothes, bumps with other vehicles and collisions with lampposts are more common.
A spokesman for the insures highlighted that drivers should not take too lightly the fact that distraction is often a significant contributory cause of road traffic accidents. He urged driver to remain focussed on the road.
Only 12% of women said they were distracted by a man passing where as 60% of men admitted to being distracted by an attractive women passing.
