Thompsons get behind Scotland in Coalfields Home Internationals

Thompsons Solicitors will be giving its full support to Scotland’s footballers this weekend as they take part in the Coalfields Home Internationals in Sunderland.

Following the Coalfields Midnight League Finals at the beginning of October, the winning team Newbattle and runners up Musselburgh will travel to Sunderland to play England and Wales’ equivalent winning teams from coalfields areas in Saturday’s tri-nation tournament.

Thompsons is proud to be sponsoring both the Coalfields Midnight League Finals and the Coalfields Home Internationals for the sixth year running and is giving its full backing to Scotland’s young players. Thompsons Partner Bruce Shields said: “The Coalfields Regeneration Trust Midnight Leagues are fantastic initiatives and fit perfectly with Thompsons’ ethos of giving back to communities. This weekend’s game will be a proud moment for these boys when they step out onto the pitch to represent their country. We are delighted to have played a part in making this happen and wish the boys every success and here’s hoping it’s a win for Scotland.”
