About Lorraine

Lorraine joined Thompsons in 2016 whilst studying for her LLB Honours degree at the University of Strathclyde. Lorraine initially worked in the Statement Team where she obtained statements from both clients and witnesses in relation to a wide variety of claims. Lorraine then began working part-time in the Lung Disease Team whilst studying for her Diploma in Legal Practice.

Expertise

Lorraine is a Solicitor within the Lung Disease Team. Her role is to investigate claims for those who have been diagnosed with asbestos-related conditions as a result of negligent exposure to asbestos. Lorraine also assists case handlers with their case holdings, primarily at the pre-litigation stage. Lorraine helps clients and families achieve the compensation and justice they deserve and this is something that she finds highly rewarding.
