Prior to becoming a Solicitor, Nicola has both studied and worked abroad. During this time she developed a keen interest in being able to find the best means of communicating with people in all walks of life and this led her to return to University to study law; she wished to put her interests and skills to practical effect, with the overriding aim of working for individuals’ rights.
Since obtaining her law degree in 2013, Nicola joined Thompsons as a trainee solicitor in the employment team. Based in Thompsons’ Glasgow office, Nicola now focuses on representing individuals diagnosed with asbestos diseases, and their families.
Specialising in handling claims once they have been raised in Court, Nicola deals with cases in the Court of Session, Sheriff Courts and the All Scotland Personal Injury Court. She makes every effort to ensure that victims and their families understand their rights, and, above all, strives to assist them while they navigate a complicated area of law at a very trying time.
