Kirsty graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2007 and, prior to this, completed an Honours degree in Scots Law.
Kirsty trained with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service where she worked for a number of years in various jurisdictions across the East of Scotland including a period in the Sheriff and Jury team in Edinburgh. She also has experience of criminal defence work in Edinburgh appearing in both the summary and solemn cases courts throughout Scotland in both.
Kirsty began working in personal injury in 2016 focusing on all aspects of pursuing claims in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland including ASPIC and local sheriff Courts including accidents at work, public liability, occupier’s liability and road traffic accidents.
Kirsty has expertise in handling a variety of cases including workplace accidents, public liability, occupier’s liability claims and road traffic accidents. She has extensive court experience where Kirsty has ran Proofs and conducted procedural hearings. Kirsty also has experience of conducting Commissions in respect of recovery of documents.
