ASBESTOS EXPERT SOLICITORS MAKE APPEAL FOR TEXT DONATIONS

Scotland’s leading personal injury firm and asbestos disease specialists, Thompsons Solicitors, today completed their 10km run to raise money for the victims of asbestos exposure.

They also repeated their appeal for people to make text donations to help support Clydeside Action on Asbestos.

The 12 strong team of runners from the Law Firm of the Year are among the first participants to use the “text giving” service, which they hope will raise significant funds for Clydeside Action on Asbestos.

The text service allows you to donate money directly to Clydeside Action on Asbestos through your mobile by texting “CAAG25” followed by a donation of either £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to 70070.

Following the race, one of the runners and partner at the firm, Laura Blane, said:

“Everyone's exhausted after the run, but it was great to do this for Clydeside Action on Asbestos.  They do great work for the victims of asbestos and their families.  It’s a great cause so people should text in as much as they can.
