At Thompson’s we would like to reassure all our clients that as far as possible we are operating as normal. The health and safety of our staff and clients is our primary concern during this outbreak and as such we are reviewing the situation on a regular basis and will be adapting our working practices following government guidelines. However, we have had to make some minor changes to how we are doing things.

Following Government guidelines, we have temporarily closed all of our offices and our staff are now all working from home using secure technologies to ensure they are able to continue to progress with existing and new cases as normal. All face to face meetings have been cancelled, however we are continuing to hold these meetings via phone and video calls. All the team are contactable on their direct dial numbers and email should you need to speak with your solicitor, please do not hesitate to talk to us about anything during this time.

We know these are uncertain and unsettling times for many of our clients, and the wider population, and things might look a little different for the foreseeable future. But our focus remains on our dedication, knowledge and strength that we provide to all our clients. We will continue to provide updates over the coming days and weeks in accordance with official guidelines and to keep everyone informed of the situation.

As always, for any concerns, advice and updates on your case; Talk to Thompsons.

Thompsons Solicitors Scotland
Thompsons Solicitors Scotland

In May 2018, Thompsons Solicitors expanded their practice into the North East of Scotland and opened an office in Scotland’s fourth largest city, Dundee! This was an exciting move for the firm to add to their current office in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Galashiels and Peebles.

In recent years, Dundee has undergone vast regeneration and is becoming a hub for creativity and culture. The waterfront of the city has dramatically transformed following an investment of £1 billion and is now home to the new Victoria & Albert museum, due to open in September 2018. The waterfront is now unrecognisable from the industrial roots of the city which was once famous for its industry of shipbuilding.

In 2018, Dundee has been featured on a list of top European destinations to visit in 2018, coming in ahead of popular holiday destinations such as Greece, by Lonely Planet magazine. The city has also been featured in Vogue magazine as a must visit for travellers coming to Scotland.

The latest addition to Dundee city centre is Thompsons new office. The new office, situated on Whitehall Crescent, is located a stone’s throw from Slessor Gardens, a popular music venue, and the new V&A. The new office in Dundee hopes to bring the specialist knowledge in representing victims of accident to Tayside and surrounding areas. The new office specialises in assisting individuals seeking redress in a vast array of accidents, including accident at work; road traffic accidents; and serious and fatal accidents. In the first few months since opening, the office has already assisted a number of local people in pursuing claims for compensation.

If you have been involved in an accident in Dundee, or the surrounding areas, pop into our offices at 4 Whitehall Crescent, Dundee to speak with our specialist team or contact us on 0800 0891 331.
