Laura Blane is an Associate Solicitor and is a Supervisor in the Lung Disease Department, with a specialised interest in Asbestos-related disease. She joined Thompsons in 2002 as a Trainee Solicitor and has been involved in asbestos litigation since. She was the instructing solicitor in two recent asbestos cases taken to Appeal in the Court of Session which succeeded in raising the level of damages awarded to the families of victims of asbestos disease.
