Carol Fox, Head of Equality, specialises in all aspects of discrimination law and equal pay. She has extensive tribunal appearances successfully representing clients in highly complex discrimination cases. Carol has been with Thompsons Solicitors since January 2002 having undertaken an accelerated LLB to build upon a decade of previous professional experience in employment and equality law as a full-time trade union official and with the Equal Opportunities Commission. Carol has utilised this extensive experience to effectively advise individuals and trade union clients.
In addition to this contentious work Carol has an important role within the firm advising unions on equality issues, speaking at external events and union conferences. Carol has been politically active in Scotland and London for 25 years and uses this broader experience within the labour and trade union movement to the benefit of Thompsons and our clients.
