DO I HAVE A DEFECTIVE METAL ON METAL HIP REPLACEMENT? 

If you think you might have a defective metal on metal hip replacement it is important that you contact us and your doctor as soon as possible.  If you have received one of the DePuy ASR hip replacements you should contact our solicitors and your doctor even if you are not experiencing any symptoms. 
 
Symptoms that may be linked to a defective metal on metal hip replacement include:

• Pain in the groin or hip area
• Difficulty walking
• Clicking of your hip
• Swelling
• Numbness or loss of feeling in your leg

If you do not have any symptoms yet, but received a DePuy ASR XL Acetabular System and DePuy ASR Hip Resurfacing System implant, it is important that you contact us and your doctor as soon as possible. 

Those at risk should have been contacted by their doctor, but if you are concerned that you may be affected contact us and your doctor as soon as possible.
