Employment Team

Thompsons' award-winning Employment Team has acted for workers throughout Scotland since 1979, providing support and assistance primarily to trade union members.

Led by solicitor advocate and accredited specialist Rory McPherson, our employment lawyers provide representation and advice at tribunals in both contentious and non contentious disputes. They are highly experienced in all forms of employment rights disputes including dismissals, discriminations, equal pay, protective awards and transfer of undertaking (TUPE).

Our employment expertise was recognised recently at the Law Awards of Scotland 2011, where Thompsons was awarded the accolade of 'Employment Firm of the Year'.
