Symptoms of Mesothelioma - related lung disease could be as follows, although there can be other causes for such symptoms:

• Shortness of breath

• Pain to the chest or abdomen

• Fluid in the lungs, also know as 'pleural effusions'

Investigations which may be undertaken include:

• X-ray

•  CT Scan

• Lung Function Tests

• Biopsy

Treatments which may be administered include the following, although this is by no means an exhaustive list:

• Radiotherapy

• Chemotherapy

• Alimta
