Andrew Henderson

Andrew Henderson, PartnerAndrew Henderson has been dealing with personal injury cases for 17 years. He has been with Thompsons in Glasgow dealing exclusively with personal injury compensation claims since December 1991 and has been a Partner in the firm since November 1995.

Over the years he has dealt with a wide variety of personal injury cases covering workplace accidents, road traffic accidents, disease cases and public liability claims. Andrew has been involved in very high value medical negligence cases such as I -v- Argyll & Clyde Health Board 2003 SLT 231. An important successful case in relation to interpretation of the Workplace (Health Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 run by Andrew in the Court of Session was McGhee v Strathclyde Fire Board 2002 SLT 680. Another recently successful Court of Session litigated case was Walsh -v- TNT.

He spends a large part of his time now in the role of Solicitor Advocate having qualified as a Solicitor Advocate in 2001. Andrew is also a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Personal Injury Specialist and a member of the Court of Session Personal Injuries Users Group.
